Your recovery progress is backed up to your account

When you are signed in, your recovery progress is backed up to your PiggyBank account on our servers so you can restore it after reinstalling the app or changing devices. This backup includes your quit date and streaks, clean-day statistics, daily gambling amount and currency, goals, personal promise, profile details, self-assessment answers, urge logs, relapse records, and relapse reflections.

When you delete your account, this server-stored recovery backup is permanently deleted along with your account.

Stored only on your device: your journal entries, debts and money-allocation records, reminders, gambling-protection settings, and loved-one sharing settings are not uploaded to our servers. They are removed when you delete the app from your device or clear the app's data.

Website blocking is on-device. PiggyBank's optional gambling-website blocking runs on your device and does not collect your browsing history, DNS requests, blocked-site attempts, or the websites you visit, so there is nothing of that kind on our servers to delete.

Purchase, subscription, transaction, fraud-prevention, security, tax, accounting, and platform compliance records may be retained where required or permitted by law, payment processors, app stores, RevenueCat, Google Play, Apple, or other compliance obligations.

Subscriptions:

Deleting your PiggyBank account does not automatically cancel an active Google Play or Apple subscription. Please cancel your subscription through Google Play or Apple account settings if needed.

Timing:

We aim to process verified deletion requests within 30 days unless a longer period is required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, tax, accounting, or platform compliance reasons.
